Sadly, these days, no one of the Philippine banks that operate in Hong Kong issues HK$ demand draft for Hong Kong Police Clearance Application,

based on our experience this month of June 2020. In fact, for any purpose, no bank issues a demand draft in HK$.

Not BDO, not Metrobank, not BPI, not PNB.

In previous years, based on the experiences of others, BDO, BPI, Metrobank and PNB issued demand drafts in Hong Kong dollars. These days, they no longer do it.

Why? Maybe because of political developments in Hong Kong that could make the Hong Kong dollar unstable. Maybe Philippine banks have had bad experiences with clearing HK$ demand drafts. Maybe issuing HK$ demand drafts is not profitable.

Maybe the foreign bank Citibank issues HK$ demand drafts, but how many of us have a Citibank account?
It's minimum Total Relationship Balance requirement is 1 million pesos.

and I'm not able to get a demand draft in Hong Kong dollars?

Which Philippine banks have branches in Hong Kong?
