CIMB Bank Philippines

Remember these when enrolling your account in the SSS Disbursement Account Enrollment Module:

For bank accounts, enroll your bank account number, not your card number.
Do not enter special characters like - or spaces.
For e-money like Paymaya, enter your phone number in this format -->  09185128764

For pensions and maternity benefits, do not use e-wallets, e-money cards or cash cards. Why? Because these have maximum balance limits. Usually they can contain only up to 100,000 pesos only. Paano kung more than 100k yong lump sum mo? Paano kung 70k yong maternity benefit mo?

New Tips!!!
For proof of account, upload a scan or photo of your latest deposit slip. Dapat clear yong bank name, account name and account number.

Does SSS accept e-money cards or cash cards?

Yes, but only these cards:
Maya (formerly Paymaya, should be verified and upgraded)
GCash (should be verified)
DBP Cash Padala Thru MLhuillier
Coins.ph
Tayocash Inc.
Lulu Financial Services (Phils) Inc.
Universal Storefront Services Corp. (USSC)
Zybi Tech Inc. (JuanCash wallet)

* Do not use these cards if you are expecting to receive more than their maximum balance limits.

Puede ba ang SSS UMID card?

Yes, you can use your SSS UMID card as your ATM card, but you need first to activate your UMID card at Union Bank kiosks at SSS branches in:

Diliman
Manila
Buendia
Pioneer
Baguio
Cebu
Davao

I like to open a bank account with only 100 pesos as initial deposit and maintaining balance. What do I present to the bank so that they won't require me to make an initial deposit of 2,000 or 3,000 pesos?

Present a Letter of Introduction (LOI) from SSS. Humingi ka ng LOI from SSS. Pero bago magbigay ang SSS ng LOI, sisiguraduhin muna nila na meron ka talagang kukuning benefit sa SSS, so bring your SSS benefit claim acknowledgment slip, or photocopies of your claim documents.

I already have an existing ATM account. Can I use it to receive my sickness or maternity benefit?

Yes, puede sa mga minsanang claim, like sickness or maternity benefit or loan proceeds.

If you decide to open your own account and not use an LOI from SSS, which banks offer the lowest amount of initial deposit and maintaining-balance requirement?

Easi-Save Basic account -- no maintaining balance -- 100 pesos opening fee -- offered by China Savings Bank
Union Bank Quick Card -- no maintaining balance

If you're near these rural banks, their maintaining-balance requirements are lesser than the commercial or thrift banks:
BDO Network Bank
Camalig Bank Inc. (A Rural Bank)
Cebuana Lhuillier Bank (A Rural Bank)
East West Rural Bank Inc.
See if the rural bank near your residence is in the list above.

I'm an ofw and just applied for salary loan, enrolled my BDO unibank as disbursement bank,is this bank accredited of SSS?
Nora said…
Yes, BDO is accredited by the SSS for disbursement of loans and benefits
Anonymous said…
is DCPAY accredited for maternity Benefits? thank you.
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Is it free po kung may letter of introduction ako from sss?
Nora said…
Yes, ang ipapa-open nila sa iyo ay yong basic account na no-maintaining-balance, pero mag-initial deposit ka pa rin ng around 100 pesos, or you pay the atm card, which is 150 to 200 pesos. Pero merong mga banks na wala nang basic account, like BDO, BPI or Metrobank (although puede itong big banks na ito kapag pension account).
Anonymous said…
Unknown said…
Can you please send me a sample of letter of introduction? Thank you
Nora said…
Nakasulat doon something like "Kindly assist our member _____ to open an account with your bank. This will be used by SSS for releasing her/his benefit."

Unknown said…
Is BDo NetworkBank(One Network bank) accredited by sss for disburement of loans and benefits? pls reply asap thank you
Nora said…
Yes, it's accredited for loans and benefits. BDO Network Bank, A Rural Bank is on the dropdown list on the SSS online bank enrollment feature.
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Hello po. Year 2018 nung naka claim ako ng maternity benefit ko. Thanks
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Ok po. Thank you

Pwde ba yung bdo debit card from my seperated employment?. or kailangang magonline banking talaga?
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Hello po. May katanungan po sana ako ulit. Ung Paymaya Inc... May hiningi cla na letter from sss
Unknown said…
Anonymous said…
Nora said…
Punta ka lang sa https://www.sss.gov.ph/, check mo "I am not a robot", the Submit, click mo yong Member, then hanapin mo yong "Register" or "Not yet enrolled" at i-click mo, then register. Pag meron ka nang account, login ka, then click mo "E-Services" then "Bank Enrollment" at i-enroll mo yong UB account mo.
Nora said…
Anonymous said…
Hi.
Unknown said…
Good day! Okey lang po ba gamitin yung Rcbc atm card ko from my seperated employer? At dapat po na enroll na agad yung atm if mag face to face interview plng sa sss for maternity benefits.
Nora said…
Hi, oo magkaiba sila. Pero they belong to the same company group. BPI is the parent company of BPI Family. Sa online banking naman at sa ATMs nila, BPI uses the same and a single system.
Nora said…
Para sure, kasi baka biglang i-close ng RCBC yong account mo dahil hindi nadedepositohan ng company mo at baka merong tag yong account na "only for deposit from XXX Co.", i-balance inquiry mo sa RCBC ATM to check if it's active, then pasok ka sa any RCBC branch and ask kung puedeng gamitin sa SSS maternity benefit at paano ma-ensure na hindi muna iko-close ng RCBC
Unknown said…
Unknown said…
Unknown said…
Unknown said…
Nora said…
Payroll account ba yan? To upgrade: https://www.paymaya.com/quick-guide/upgrade. Format ay 09171234567 or 09181234567.
Anonymous said…
Hello po. Recently I opened BDO Kabayan savings, is it accredited po ba to be enrolled in sss sa pagkuha ko po ng maternity ko? Thank you po.
Anonymous said…
Nora said…
Download the app Paymaya. I-upgrade mo. Here's how to upgrade your Paymaya.. Within 3 days ang upgrade.
Nora said…
Ang IDs accepted by Paymaya for upgrade ay ito lang muna: Driver's License, Passport,
UMID or SSS ID (digitized, with photo), PRC License, Postal ID (issued 2015 onwards),
NBI Clearance.
Anonymous said…
Nora said…
Basta verified o upgraded. How to upgrade Paymaya

Unknown said…
Thank you po
Nora said…
Before the pandemic, naidedeposit ang pera mga 7 days to one month after "Settled". Ngayon, up to more than a month na, based sa mga complaints online.
Nora said…
Kung 300 pesos ang nabawas sa account mo agad-agad after opening, hinold ng BDO ang 300 para sa penalty kung halimbawa iko-close mo ang account within 30 days from opening. Dapat laging meron at least 2k pesos sa account mo (kasama yong 300 na na-hold), pero kung hindi mo ma-maintain, make sure na merong MORE THAN 300 pesos sa account mo, at nang sa ganon, kahit nagbabawas ng 300 pesos para sa below-balance penalty, hindi mag-ze-zero or negative balance, at hindi automatic na mag-close, up to the time na makuha mo na yong benefit mo.
Nora said…
Sorry
Unknown said…
Unknown said…
extrablogger said…
Hi! is it true na di acceptable ang payroll account?, I tried to enroll my payroll account and attached atm screenshot that contains card number with my name, but unfortunately disapproved.
Nora said…
Hi, SSS says they accept payroll accounts that accept deposits by sources other than your company. Is your payroll account a cash card? And you wrote the cash card number on the "Disbursement Account No." field? If yes, SSS must be looking for another proof that the cash card is active, like a deposit slip showing that you have recently deposited to your cash card, with your name and cash card number on the deposit slip, with bank machine marks.
Or are you claiming a maternity benefit? Cash card is not allowed since many cash cards have maximum deposit limits.
Or is your payroll account a savings account? If yes, SSS wants a deposit slip showing you have recently deposited to your account, with your name and account number, with bank machine marks.
Nora said…
My basis: My relative recently filed for his retirement pension, and what they required is not a photo of the atm card of his savings account, but the initial deposit slip
extrablogger said…
hi NORA!thank you for reply, yes my payroll account is saving account, and i already deposited 100 pesos to my account and haved my deposit slip and attached as supporting doc, still waiting for the approval, hope it will be approved.
extrablogger said…
how many days po ba ang approval once you enrolled disbursement account?
Nora said…
extrablogger said…
Thank you NORA, but upon checking sabi "No Re-disbursement records found."

Anonymous said…
Hi. Thanks in advance.
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Paano po if ung ginamit na account sa sss maternity if diactivate na.. ano po pwede gawin?mg oopen account ulit po b q?tnx
Nora said…
Closed bank account: Kung BDO, hindi nagpapa-reactivate ang BDO, so open a new account.
Unknown said…
Good day.
Nora said…
About using BDO Kabayan Savings account for SSS pension: Oo puede, kasi Pesonet member naman ang BDO.
Unknown said…
Good day!
Nora said…
Unknown said…
Nora said…
Present your marriage certificate and IDs noong single ka pa and IDs na married na.

Anonymous said…
account sa philippines at philippine ID,I have a french nationality. Thank you.
Nora said…
To French national: Kung nasa France ka, mag-email ka sa bilad@sss.gov.ph at mag-request ka ng application form to open a pension account with CTBC. Give some info: complete name, age, date of birth, email address, SSS no. Are you claiming under the SSS bilateral agreement between France and the Phils? Or are you claiming your SSS pension, separately from your French pension? Whichever, you can ask questions on how to file while you are in France.
If you're claiming your Philippine SSS pension only, you can file your claim online through your online SSS account. If you don't have yet an online SSS account, watch SSS videos on YouTube on how to register online. If registration still needs OTP, ask your trusted family member in the Philippines to lend you their phone no. and help you in actual time so you can receive your OTP through them. You can do actual-time same-time cooperation through FB Messenger.

Via Sabareza said…
Nora said…
Nora said…
Nora said…
