What Banks in the Philippines Accept Remittance Deposits from Western Union and Moneygram?

These are the banks in the Philippines that accept remittance deposits from Western Union and Moneygram. This means that the SENDER can SEND MONEY directly to any savings account or checking account in these banks thru Western Union and Moneygram.

For WESTERN UNION:
  • Banco de Oro (BDO)
  • Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
  • Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. (Metrobank)
  • Philippine National Bank (PNB)
  • Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)
  • United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB)
  • Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP)
  • Allied Bank

For MONEYGRAM:

  • Allied Bank
  • Asia Trust
  • Asia United Bank
  • Banco De Oro
  • Bank of Commerce

Notes:

-- You can send money at an agent location, or you can send money via the Internet using your credit or debit account.

-- When sending, choose the option: Account Deposit

-- For recipients with BDO accounts, the better choice is Moneygram, since Moneygram is a remittance partner of BDO. Money transfer would be faster.

-- For frequent senders, you can create an account with Western Union or Moneygram, so you don't have to write the same remittance information for subsequent remittances.

-- Make sure the recipient's account name and account number are correct.
